Get answers to common questions about Bikini Line.
We recommend hair be about 1/4 inch (approximately 4–6 mm) so the wax can grip properly. If hair is too short, removal may be incomplete; if longer, we can trim slightly during your appointment for optimal results.
Sensitivity varies by person, but most clients report brief discomfort during removal. To minimize pain, avoid caffeine, exfoliate gently beforehand, breathe deeply, and consider a topical numbing product if you are very sensitive. Our technicians work quickly and kindly.
Most clients return every 3–6 weeks depending on individual growth. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make sessions more comfortable over time. We can recommend a personalized schedule during your visit based on how your hair grows.
Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs. Prevent them by gently exfoliating a few times weekly, keeping the area clean, avoiding tight clothing immediately after waxing, and using salicylic or glycolic acid products as recommended by your technician.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Wear loose clothing and apply a soothing, fragrance-free gel or aloe. Avoid exfoliation for the first 48 hours, then resume gentle exfoliation to prevent ingrowns.
Bikini Line waxing is generally safe during pregnancy, though sensitivity may increase. Many clients wait until after the first trimester. Always consult your healthcare provider if you have pregnancy complications, and inform your technician so we can accommodate you.
