Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycle and individual hormones. Regular waxing can extend the interval as hair becomes finer and sparser. We recommend scheduling every four to six weeks for maintenance.

Trim very long hair if necessary and arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions or oils. Avoid heavy sun exposure and exfoliate gently two days before. If on medications, inform your esthetician as some increase skin sensitivity.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first treatments, but our experienced estheticians use techniques to reduce pain. Numbing creams can be applied when appropriate. Many clients find waxing quicker and less irritating overall than frequent shaving.

Appointments typically last 20 to 40 minutes depending on hair density and whether additional areas are treated. Your esthetician will discuss timing during booking, and first-time clients may need a few extra minutes for consultation and skin assessment.

Ingrown hairs can occur, especially if hair is curly or skin is prone to bumps. We recommend regular exfoliation starting a few days after treatment, moisturizing, and using products designed to prevent ingrowns. Follow our post-care tips to minimize occurrence.

Recent sunburn, skin infections, open wounds, certain medications (like retinoids or blood thinners), and active acne can make waxing unsafe. Inform your esthetician about skin conditions, medications, or recent procedures so they can advise or reschedule safely.
