Get answers to common questions about Ear Candling.
When performed by a trained technician and following strict safety protocols, ear candling is generally safe for healthy adults. We use protective measures and monitor the process closely; however it is not recommended for those with perforated eardrums, infections, or recent surgery.
A full session including consultation and relaxing head massage lasts about 30–45 minutes. Candling itself usually takes about 15–20 minutes per ear, with time allocated for preparation and post-treatment guidance.
Some clients report temporary relief from ear pressure and a reduction in ringing, but results vary. Candling can ease congestion and promote relaxation, yet it should not be considered a medical cure for chronic tinnitus or ear disorders.
Most clients find the treatment soothing and report minimal to no discomfort. The gentle warmth and calming sounds often create a relaxing experience, with staff continuously checking comfort and adjusting technique if you feel any sensitivity.
We typically advise against treating young children and recommend that pregnant clients consult their healthcare provider first. Safety is paramount; exceptions are evaluated individually and only performed with clear medical approval and technician discretion.
Arrive with clean, dry hair and avoid swimming or ear drops on the day of treatment. Inform us about recent ear issues, medications, or surgeries so we can tailor care. Plan to relax and allow time for the full session.
