Most clients begin after medical clearance: typically six weeks following a vaginal birth and eight to twelve weeks after a cesarean. We require approval from your healthcare provider for any complications; your therapist will adapt treatments according to recovery stage and comfort level.

Each session lasts 60 minutes delivered by our experienced therapist. The full program includes five guided sessions, totaling approximately five hours of treatment. Sessions are scheduled weekly or tailored to your recovery pace and availability for optimal results.

Yes—most techniques are safe for breastfeeding mothers. We avoid contraindicated oils and use gentle positioning to ensure comfort. Inform your therapist about breastfeeding and any medications; we’ll coordinate treatment timing and techniques to protect lactation and your baby's wellbeing.

Contraindications include active postpartum hemorrhage, unhealed surgical wounds, active infection, deep vein thrombosis, uncontrolled hypertension or other unstable medical conditions. Cesarean clients require surgical clearance. We always perform a pre-treatment assessment and request physician approval when any concerns arise.

Expect an initial intake and gentle assessment, followed by tailored massage, therapeutic techniques, and soothing Ayurvedic oils. Therapists focus on comfort, breathwork, and alignment. Sessions conclude with aftercare guidance, exercises and lifestyle tips to support continued recovery at home.

Bring any postpartum medical notes and your provider’s clearance if requested. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and arrive hydrated. Avoid heavy meals immediately beforehand. Inform us about medications, allergies and delivery details so the therapist can customize techniques for your safety and comfort.
